When God hide himself in flesh

 A  Re-reading of Christmas and flesh

Christmas is a hide and seeks game

Where God hide and we seek him

Where we seek him is more important.. No need to seek God in palaces, not in symphonies, not even in stunning things. But our God, the amazing surprise maker hides himself in the flesh. Seek God in the flesh.

Flesh?

Christmas is an epitome of regaining beauty of flesh which we lost by first act of sin by Adam.

Why God choose a medium of flesh?

God needs to redeem the fallen flesh, fallen humans by incarnation of word. The gospel of St. John says that, the word will purify you. In order to purify the inclinations of flesh into sin, the Word incarnated.

This is a simultaneous act- incarnation and purification.

Do you need to purify the promptings of your flesh, allow yourself to incarnate word of God in you.
